Propolis Tincture

Propolis is a resinous substance that honey bees produce by mixing enzymes and beeswax with exudate gathered from tree buds, sap and other botanical sources. We take propolis collected in our hives and dissolve it in gluten free vodka, gin, or grain alcohol to capture the full spectrum of its essential beneficial compounds.

Use: taken as a supplement by adding  a few drops daily to drinks, smoothies, mixed with honey or taken by itself for a rapidly-absorbed healthy boost. Also can be used topically for minor skin irritations.

Known for its antiviral, antibacterial and antifungal properties.

Honey does not need to be refrigerated.  We do recommend using a clean spoon each time you dip into a jar.  This keeps added moisture out of the honey.

All honey will crystalize over time, no need to worry.  Place the jar in a pan of warm water until liquid again.  Do not microwave or boil, this kills all the good stuff in the honey.

Spring is light and delicate. Summer is rich and flavorful. Fall is robust with a citrus finish.

Lavender Infused Honey (unavailable in 2025)

For this honey, we add lavender branches from our garden and slowly let the lavender infuse the honey with its delicious flavor and scent. We do recommend that you keep infused honey in the refrigerator to keep it from crystalizing.
